We were sorry to have missed the hosts but their daughter and son did an excellent job of running the B&B. A fine job well done.

We did not find any problems at all.

I can only say good things about our stay at Athlumney Manor Guest House, Pat was so welcoming and it really is in a good position. There is so much to see in the area and unfortunately we just didn't have enough time. I would recommend this accomodation to anyone, the brekky was great. Pat owned a Hotel before this, you can tell he is very professional and friendly.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and eating facility, location easy to find, plenty of places in town to eat, close proximity to Brun a boine ruins.

The proprietors (Pat & Pauline) are amazing. Guests are always made to feel very welcome, and they cannot do enough for you, and answer any questions you have. They serve a hearty breakfast which will get you going in the morning with a wide selection (continental, fry up etc...) The hotel is located within walking distance to the town centre for pubs and restaurants, making it an ideal location. Rooms are very clean and tidy, and a large car park is available if you have a hire car. The gardens are beautiful and well kept too should you wish to spend some time outside in the sun. This was the second time I had stayed at Athlumney Manor, having visited 10 years ago when in town for a wedding. I would definitely stay there again and would not hesitate in recommending this B&B to anyone.

Location was excellent for walking to town for very good restaurants and pubs and for driving to local historic sites nearby. Owners were very personable and helpful with travel tips and restaurant suggestions. House was spotlessly clean and well kept and breakfast was delicious and more than ample.

Bathroom was small. It was fine for us (we're short) but taller or larger people might find it cramped.
